Food
Processing:
GPP has four new food and post-harvest coating products currently being
tested by prospective customers for market introduction:
- A coating for French fries
which reduces the fat uptake of fries by up to 35% without affecting
flavor.
Agriculture:
- A post-harvest product
that prevents skinned "new potatoes" from turning brown or
gray during shipment to market.
- Biodegradable mulch
paper to replace black plastic.
- Biodegradable Plastic
wrapping for hay bales.
Paper Industry:
- Coatings to water and
grease-proof butchers paper and burger wrapping
paper.
